DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

My thesis year of graduate school coincided with a particularly challenging year of world events. In many ways this film is my response to the chaos. I consider this project an exercise in gratitude, a reminder that regardless of circumstance, we all "live among the stars."

In the making of this film I am particularly indebted to my fantastic friends and composers, Stephen and Kate, who devoted so much time, passion, and care to the score and whose music is the heart of this collaboration.
